History
It all started around late spring in 2008. As part of the One Percent for Peace celebrations, the Unity Church in Raleigh was looking for participation by various ethnic groups to present their culture (via music). Sunitha, our music teacher par excellence, gathered a bunch of singers and within a short time of a couple of months prepared them to present a few beautiful songs on the celebration day. The effort was successful and appreciated by all. The group enjoyed the experience so much as to request Sunitha for continued lessons in music. And, of course, Sunitha, the gracious and kind-hearted person that she is, readily agreed. So, here we are, more than a year later, coming together every Sunday at her house to partake of this remarkable gift of hers.
